Senior Software Architect. Designed and led a 5 person team in the re-architecting of a Video on Demand store providing mobile and ‘desktop’ user experiences from Drupal to Zend Framework. Implemented Redmine integrated with SVN and LDAP to support an improved scrum-like development strategy

Acquia, Inc, 2008-2009

Responsible for configuring, deploying, and monitoring infrastructure systems supporting all facets of the company.  Highlight: Implemented a cloud-based infrastructure supporting rapid development and deployment.

Freelance Developer, 2005 – 2008

Highlights: Singehandedly converted BostonNOW from a home-brewed framework to Drupal in 3 months with no prior experience of the framework. Designed and implemented a high-availability load-balanced cluster from bare metal up. BostonNOW subsequently folded when its investment was pulled.

Designed and taught several multi-week programs to middle and high-school students on the science of perception, evolution of vertebrates, and the evolution of the circulatory system.
