I dunno. I'm frankly quite put out that the Bluetooth version of this lovely keyboard being shorn of those extra keys as well. Don't even get me started on the "mighty" mouse; crappiest apple mouse since the hockey puck. Latest beef: I just discovered you can't click the other button while holding down one. I keep imagining that Steve Jobs lives in some weird muppet land where everyone has a single finger to their name.

Firstly, the keyboard is a thing of beauty. It’s basically a refined version of the keyboard on the MacBook with slightly more spacious function keys and a full number pad. It’s commentary of some sort that a number pad makes me so happy.

Heh. I recently got a USB keyboard for my MacBook Pro for the same reason. The full size navigation pad makes me incredibly happy. Navigation with PgUp/PgDn/Home/End! No more fuzziness of the scroll wheel or unwieldiness of the chorded keys!

Why oh why can't Apple have these four keys as standard on all portables?
