My rune for 2008

wunjo.pngWunjo, pronounced vun-yoh, is the rune of joy, peaceful winning, and wishes fulfilled. I drew this rune after a rebirth at a solstice ritual. It is one of the few unambiguously “good” runes in the Elder Futhark, and it surprised and delighted me as portents are seldom so clear and kind. Here’s hoping it holds true.

    Thanks, Doug. Sorry for the big delay in replying – I need to be much better about these things but life is very complicated of late. I recall those days as well; I was just telling a friend the tale of our trip to Hollywood by way of Vancouver. I hope things are treating you well and that we’ll get the chance to see each other in the flesh before too many more years flow by ;)
