It is this abdication of their essential responsibility within our government that infuriates me, and thus my modest proposal that they spend some time in the can each year. As long as someone on the idiot-box says we're putting in more safety implementations and other gew-gaws that will make us safer, well then shucky-darn I guess it's OK if I can get illegally searched anywhere, anytime. *I* know I'm not a dangerous terrorist.
